Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club

Hamilton Harbor held a boat show on Saturday afternoon.  Having been invited inspite of the fact I know little about boats, my wife and I decided to attend just for fun.  Fun it was! There was great food and drink to go along with the dozens of beautiful boats on display.  All shapes and sizes were available for all to see and purchase if tempted.  They even had a Carribean Style Band to entertain, steel drums and all.

Hamilton Harbor (http://www.HamiltonHarborYachtClub.com) developed by Collier Enterprises, can accommodate 325 boats up to 50 feet long in this state of the art boathouse.  Built to withstand winds up to 150 miles per hour, this facility gives boat owners peace of mind.  In addition there are 35 wet slips for boats up to 60 feet in length.
Some of the boaters there told me this was the best location in Naples.  It's less than 10 minutes to Gordon Pass and provides the most convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico.

The forklift in the photo has a 55,000-pound capacity- one of the largest ever made for the marine industry.  I watched as it raised and lowered several boats into and out of the water about as easy as you or I would handle a toy.

The Club offers concierge services for boaters.  You can call ahead to have your boat fueled and prepped for launch, and at the end of the day the staff will care for and wash your boat prior to being stowed.

By the way social memberships are available for you land lovers out there.  This is a unique club and a beautiful facility that is just minutes from Olde Naples.  If you'd like to live nearby feel free to contact me and also please visit my web site for more Naples and real estate specific information.  http://www.markWsimoff.com.
