Featured speakers were: Vernon Peeples, a 5th generation Floridian currently living in Punta Gorda, Lila Zuck, a local author of Naples history, and J. William Meek, owner/director of the Harmon/Meek Gallery. All three presentations have been captured on film for your enjoyment, so now is your time to view them in our charming Cottage Theater. Featured Volunteer: Kathleen Slebodnik
What would our oral history project be without our interviewers? Kathleen has dedicated much of her time over the last three years to our oral History program. As an "interviewer", she must not only be abundantly prepared to conduct an interview in front of the camera, but she must also conduct significant research through preliminary interviews as well. Kathleen is also a docent-guide for our walking tours of the Naples Historic District, a docent for the house-museum, and donates much time during our annual promotion, Christmas at Palm Cottage.
